Colorado Beta Gaveliers was chartered by the National Association of Parliamentarians on November 12, 1970. While we meet in the Southern part of the Denver Metro area, our members live throughout the Denver Metro area. The membership includes active members, provisional members, Registered Parliamentarians, and Professional Registered Parliamentarians.
Our meetings start with a business meeting which helps us put into practice what we have learned about parliamentary procedure. After the business meeting is a short social time followed by an instructional lesson. Past lessons have included writing bylaws, making motions, writing concise minutes and reviewing sections of Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised (RONR). Discussions are always lively and very informative. Guests are welcome!
